March-08-2014: Self Positioning-Workshop for Women ready to take the next Career Step
A Workshop for women, who are planning their career self dependent and well-directed. For women who need strategic tools and „how-to-dos“ for their job. Who like to manage how other people see them. Who want to further develop their strengths – and eliminate personal career “killers”.
Over half of the women who work in managing positions want to ascend towards higher positions. This clear result comes from an online survey, which gdi-consulting conducted among 149 female managers in Austria in business companies or closely related to such in January 2013. Three reasons mainly prevent women from pursuing career paths more straightly: The reason most given is a corporate culture which prevents them by intern structures and barriers. Secondmost reasons given are two, ex-aequo: 1. family duties – mainly child care – 2. their own ego – often lacking self confidence.

Gerhild Deutinger, MSc (left)
born in Salzburg, living in Vienna since 1989. Studied communication sciences, psychology and political sciences. Worked as a newspaper journalist for Der Standard and Kurier. Worked as a senior consultant since 1994, six years of which in projects closely related to politics. Founded her own company, impulsbüro, in 2007: Her consultance agency aims at supporting optimal communication by strategic consulting, trainings, coaching and moderation. Experienced in positioning CEOs. Worked with board members and executives as well as with heads of ministeries since 2000, focusing on their strategic positioning. Educated in systemic organizational development.
Gabriele Strodl-Sollak, MA (right)
lived and worked abroad for several years, a.o. in the US and Russia. Worked as a press officer for an international company as well as a senior consultant in a Vienna based public relations agency. Founded her own company, Sollak Kommunikationsarchitekten, in 2006, specialising on PR, coaching, gender-and-diversity consulting & ethno-marketing. Numerous further educations and trainings a.o.: Gender Mainstreaming at im kontext in Vienna/AU, Intercultural competences at the Danube University in Krems/AU and Gender and Diversity at The Intercultural Communication Institute, USA/Janet M. Bennett.

EUR 350,- per participant plus VAT (VAT included for self-paying participants).
The seminar fee includes participation, handouts, lunch and 1 transfer coaching 2 weeks after the workshop.
EUR 290,– if you do not book the transfer coaching 2 weeks after the workshop.
– Preparation of workshop: About 2 weeks preceeding the workshop every participant who registered gets papers to prepare individually
– Workshop (group work sessions, work in pairs and individual work ) with brief Inputs, techniques from leadership and CEO-positioning, communication and presentation exercises
